So, what is Volpe?

Volpe is a photography, video, and social content studio based in Detroit, working with businesses and brands that have something worth showing.

We work with restaurants, hospitality, beauty, wellness, retail, creatives, personal brands, and other businesses that want their online presence to feel as good as the experience they provide in person.

Our job isn't to make your business into something it isn't.

It's to show people what is already there.

Where it started

15 years behind the camera.

Volpe grew out of a photography career that started long before social media became such a huge part of how people discover businesses.

After years of photographing weddings, brands, businesses, people, products, and events, one thing became pretty clear:

Great photography isn't just about making something look good. It's about making someone feel something.

Social media works the same way.

A photo can make someone hungry.
A video can make someone curious.
A behind-the-scenes moment can make someone feel like they're already part of the experience.

That's where Volpe comes in.

  • Volpe means "fox" in Italian.

    The fox felt like the right symbol for what we're trying to do.

    • Curious.

    • Observant.

    • A little clever.

    • Comfortable standing out when it matters and blending into the background when it doesn't.

    Good content works the same way.

    It doesn't always need to shout.

    Sometimes the best thing you can do is make someone stop for a second and think:

    "Wait... what's that?"

    That's the kind of curiosity we're after.
